What is something your friends do not know about you?

When I shower, I always end with a cold shower, turn three times around my own axis, and I am only allowing myself to turn off the cold water when I am done. Even though I am always contemplating whether I should do it, I am very happy every time I do it.

If you were to meet and get to learn from anyone in the world, who would that be and why?

I am doing this yoga and meditation teacher training course according to the Himalaya tradition. I would have loved to meet Swami Rama, who is the master of the yoga and meditation practice in this tradition. While reading books about this knowledge, I would have loved to ask Swami Rama all my questions and get insights from him. This ancient philosophy fascinates me because it is all about connecting to yourself. I believe that the connection to yourself is where it all starts: If you know who you are and you are connected to your true nature, you can better connect to others. It makes us more empathetic, quieter, less emotionally reactive, better listeners. We feel less lonely and more heard.

What do you love about the Inner Work-Out?

What I love about the Inner Work-Out is that it bridges the connection between yourself and others. It is a basis for a better world! I am always amazed by how many things happen in this small timeframe of one session and the huge impact it has. Instead of spending the whole day learning people all the things around it, we go straight into the core, the contact between people, and the ability to listen better.

What is your vision for the Inner Work-Out?

This competency of knowing yourself and others, and building deeper relationships, is very beneficial for companies. I believe that it is a key factor for companies’ successes. I would wish to bring an integrated concept to companies that encourage everyone to connect to themselves and others and have more meaningful conversations. Whether it be because you are stimulated to have coffee with someone you do not know, by a meditation session, or by an Inner Work-Out session. It will change cultures from the inside out.

How do you experience Inner Work-Outs yourself?

Even though I know the methodology and structure, every time that I take part in a group session, I am always touched by what happens. The depth of the connection I feel to people I didn’t knew two hours ago and the amount of insights and clarity I gain.
